For the twenty-four hours following your treatment, we advise that you avoid strenuous exercise, a hot bath or alcohol, as these can cause an increase of blood flow to the areas injected and may cause some unwanted distribution or spread to adjacent areas. This is rare, however. Should you experience a headache, the best analgesia to use is paracetamol. After the injections, please try not to touch your face, nor apply make-up as this can possibly cause an infection, or by touching, physically push the toxin beyond the intended injection area. For an hour or so immediately after your treatment, we encourage you to use those muscles treated to encourage absorption of the toxin.

After about five to seven days, you will begin to realise you have reduced muscle activity in the areas treated , and this will continue until about the fourteenth day, when the effects of the toxin are at their maximum. We like to see you about 2 weeks after treatment, for a review, and to ensure the best result has been achieved for you? If a small number of additional injections are required, these are given as part of the original cost.

Due to a bigger muscle mass, men require about 30% more toxin to achieve the desired result, and as such, our prices for men and women slightly differ, to reflect this.
